In general, no standard Link cable will maintain your headset battery when it is powered by most PC usb3 ports. At best it will help extend your runtimes up to 2x. Make sure to start off with a fully charged headset battery when using Link. Also, I recommend you avoid using 120Hz refresh rates because this will drain your battery faster and further reduce your runtimes (and also heat up your headset).
I currently prefer to use Air Link and this gives me the option to use an external 10000mahr battery pack for long runtimes. Of course you need a proper router/wifi setup to do this.
Alternatively, the best Link cable I've owned (and still own) is the 16ft Kuject powered Link cable I bought from Amazon. It uses your Q2 charger/cable to help maintain you headset battery at ~80%. Again, make sure to start off with a fully charged headset prior to using Link. This is the one I bought ~11 months ago and it still works great. Try to buy Q2 accessories from Amazon because they are easy to return for a refund if you don't like them.
