My meta account doesn’t appear online to friends and can’t join calls

It happened to me a couple of days ago i can’t call my friends and can’t join their calls and it appears to them i’m offline even tho i have the settings set to appear online

Hello there! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We would be happy to look into this for you, as we don't want you to continue to miss out on anything with family and friends. Can you please let us know if

  • Have there been any recent changes to your device. 
  • Have you already attempted any troubleshooting steps? If so, what have you already tried?

If you haven't already, try to do a hard reboot by following these steps: 

  1. Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect boot (such as external battery packs, accessories that plug into the USB-C port, etc.).
  2. Hard reboot the headset.
        - Hold down the power button and volume-down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound.
  3. If the boot-up sound is not heard:
     a. Hold the power and volume (-) buttons down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
     b. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
     c. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
