My oculus charging

SharkArmed

I have had my quest 2 for 2 years and have been getting multiple chargers for it, Currently my new quest charger is dying while it's plugged in(also I'm playing it) and it also stops charging randomly while I'm playing it so the symbol on the charging logo dissappear and so I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it wirks.

Right now I'm thinking my oculus is really damaged

Hey there! Just wanted to hop in and provide some insight. I wouldn't recommend playing while plugged into a charging cable, There could be some pull when moving which could be messing with the connection/port.

If anything, even if you don't have a warranty, you can reach out to @MetaQuestSupport either through PM or through a support ticket and they'll see what they can do.

I'm not so sure that I can help you directly or indirectly with your issue. Lithium-ion batteries have a tendency to degrade in capacity over time, especially with frequent use. If you still have your warranty, you may be able to get a new headset with a properly working charger and battery. If you don't have your warranty, then I suggest that you may want to consider repairing it manually.

There are some guides on how to do this, but please note that performing a lithium battery replacement can be dangerous if the battery gets damaged. So use caution if you want to fix your issue. That being said, I think you should get someone skilled in the matter to fix the headset for you. Or you can just watch a video on youtube on how to do it.--->https://youtu.be/hu4-Ly3eFTw
