Okay sorry to answer this late but the only thing I did was wait till the head seat battery died (in standby mode) and I charged it again and it was back to normal

Hey there, @toprak.1315! We know that being stuck with a gray screen while trying to enjoy VR gaming can really disrupt an amazing gameplay experience, so we would love to look further into this for you in order to get you back to a smooth VR experience. Before we start, can you please answer the following questions listed below?

  • When did you first notice this issue with your headset?
  • Have you made any changes to your Meta account or to your headset settings recently?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried to fix the issue?
  • Are you seeing any error messages on the screen when this happens?
  • Can you describe what you were doing with the headset just before this issue started?
  • Is your Meta Quest home environment also grayed out, or does this only happen when trying to launch apps?
  • Are you using your headset with a PC or standalone when this happens?

Once we can get a better understanding of this, we can know what course of action is best for us to take next. We look forward to hearing back from you soon!

  8. Can you describe what you were doing with the headset just before this issue started?
  9. I wanted to play a new game i got.
  10. Is your Meta Quest home environment also grayed out, or does this only happen when trying to launch apps?
  11. When i put in my passcode it imedeatly puts me into a light gray area
  12. Are you using your headset with a PC or standalone when this happens?
  13. I always use stand alone and never played with a PC (probably because I dont even have a PC).

And it looks like this, there is just this,no menus or controllers, like i put in my passcode and its Stuck in that place, i can still look around, just in that place(i dont know if it hast a name)

We appreciate your patience and cooperation so much! We do have some troubleshooting steps you can attempt. Please follow the steps below and let us know how it worked out for you!

  • Ensure the headset is powered on (check if the power LED is on)
    • If there appears to be no power, attempt to charge the headset for 2 hours.
  • If the headset powers on, but still no display is present:
    1. Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect boot (such as external battery packs, accessories that plug into the USB-C port, etc.)
    2. Hard Reboot the headset
      1. Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
      2. If the boot-up sound is not heard:
        1. Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
        2. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
        3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

We can't wait for your response!
