I recently bought Meta Quest 3. I took it to work and made a presentation for my colleagues. One person ordered Quest 3 directly from the Meta store. He used my reflink but he received the following message: "Referral link unavailable. The link may be invalid, incorrect or expired. Please wait and try again." He tried several times but the same error occurred each time.
When I sent him the reflink that I received from the person who recommended this device to me, the reflink worked. This way I worked hard and someone else got the bonus 😉
My friend from work may also be interested in purchasing something, but my referral link doesn't work for some reasons I don't understand, so I have no motivation to convince her to purchase it. What does it mean that a link is expired?
The second problem may be related to the first. In the Meta store I can only buy for Quest Cash. I tried to add several credit cards that I have and they are added without any problems, the store authorizes them, but when making a purchase, a blank window appears and it doesn't take money from any card.
Cards in other stores work without problems. What's more - I paid for Meta Quest 3 in the Meta store with one of them and it worked. The problem is definitely with the Meta account.
