My son cant see other users in Gorilla tag

So after an incedent, i finally created an account under the family center for my son, we logged in to that new account on the Quest 2, we understand its a fresh account so whoever he had before as a "friend"/"follower" is gone since they're probably attached to my adult account, however he now claims he cant see anyone in Gorilla Tag, and "Can't join servers"?, I figured it might be a setting or something but I cant figure it out. Gorilla Tag is E for Everyone, so Im not sure why.
I also tried as a test to change his age on his account just to test if that's the issue, but I was not able to and was told to contact support. 
What can I do in this case?

I assume, your son has a child(10-12) account?

Actually, players have to be 13+. Since the introduction of child accounts, it's also been allowed for 10- to 12-year-olds, but....

......child accounts have restrictions, such as:

- they can't join private lobbies
- they can't use the computer in the game
- they can't communicate with other players.

If they join a public lobby, other players will hear only monkey noise from him and he can only hear monkey noise from other players and so on.
