My son has been locked out of account for months - Age suspension

My son accidentally entered wrong birthday so now his Meta account has been deactivated.

We can't log in because it wants him to verify his birthday, I've tried everything! Proof of ID etc. - but NOTHING HELPS!! He has many games he purchased that he will lose!!!

I have sent numerous emails to support, and got no helpful response… I want to go report this to the responsible government forum.. but want to try here first - I have 0% faith in this being solved when I read all the bad feedback 🥹😭 Anyone ??

Hey @queenw.739317, did you receive a ticket number when you opened a conversation with support?

You should message CS privately through the forums by selecting @MetaQuestSupport to get to their profile, then click 'send a message'. 

Make sure to include the ticket number you were provided when you originally emailed, this will help them help you! 🍒

I have followed their instructions more than 40 times, my son's is also suspended and will be wiped on 29th September.  I have gotten nowhere. Their communications constantly contradict their previous one and they will ask you for your driving licence. Good luck, but I suspect you have no chance!!!

Dear Meta

Due to the fact you are now ignoring my emails regarding proof of id and unblocking my son's account, I would be grateful if you could please contact me asap to arrange a full refund for the cost of the device and all associated games that were purchased for it.  You are an absolute disgrace of a business, with no shame or integrity whatsoever.  I will make a point of ensuring anyone I speak with is advised very strongly not to purchase your devices.

Oh my, I'm not surprised I'm not the only one getting NO help from Meta with a similar problem.

Age lock... what a BRILLIANT idea... /sarcasm off

It's a matter of time before the big gaming/tech forums totally crucify Meta about this.

The only thing working here is the dumb badge system.

Now that would be good.

One of the emails I was sent with instructions had, where my email address should have been, someone else's - presumably another suffering customer.  In my opinion, that is totally unacceptable and an absolute disgrace - not to mention data protection implications.
