NEED HELP- Horizon account scheduled for deletion after being hacked

On April 1, somebody hacked my Facebook and Horizon accounts. I followed the directions online re: getting Meta Verified, speaking to chat on Instagram… supplied them with a new email and eventually after a week, got back into my Facebook account and the offending Instagram that had hacked everything was removed from Account Center.

Unfortunately, my Horizon account is scheduled for deletion and will not let me cancel it because the hacker apparently violated community standards in their Instagram. I need help. There are 20 days left before my account (that I have had since 2016 for my Oculus and purchased thousands of dollars worth of software) will be deleted. I’ve had to make a new account to even log into these forums which I did at the suggestion of Reddit because Meta Verified chat is giving me the runaround and does not seem capable of fixing this problems.

Meta developers, can you please help? I’m at my wits end. I can’t even use my headset at this point. When I turn it on, it asks me to log into www.meta.com/device to reconnect my device using the code on the screen, but I obviously can’t do that because I can’t even log into my original account.

Have you tried connecting to support via the WhatsApp chat? That is usually where I go when I have had issues. You can get there by going to the support area with your new account and going through the prompts until you get to the contact options. Then choose WhatsApp.

I haven't had one time when they weren't able to fix whatever issue I had. I have connected with them through WhatsApp 7 or 8 times for different things.

Just another place to try.

Your idea is the first I’m hearing about it so I’m certainly willing to give it a try! How would I go about doing that? I have WhatsApp… is there a number/person I reach out to directly?

and you need to go through the links and it should get you to a place to chose WhatsApp as the way you contact support.
