Hi there @Mahamad1988! We understand that you'd like to know the network requirements for the Oculus PC app to run it in a work network.

For a Meta Quest headset to connect properly to Meta servers, the following domains must be accessible for their networks:

  • oculus.com
  • facebook.com
  • meta.com
  • fbcdn.net
  • akamaihd.net

If these domains are not whitelisted in work networks, users will likely have network connection issues (installing or downloading).

You will also need to open the following ports to allow outbound connections:

  • 443 (TCP)
  • 3478 (TCP)
  • 50000-59999 range (UDP)

Hope we were able to clarify this for you! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Hi, We are testing these changes, are there any IP addresses which needs to access as well?

Hello there! Please note the following:

IP ranges used by Meta Quest for Business:

Facebook’s Autonomous System (AS) number AS32934 can be used to retrieve an accurate and up-to-date list of IP addresses of Facebook web servers. Using the command whois -h whois.radb.net -- '-i origin AS32934' will return IPv4 and IPv6 subnets. This command should be run at least once a month to keep the IP addresses up to date.

This list of IP addresses is subject to change. Due to this, allowlisting by IP is not supported.

Is it possible to to connect any network support from Meta through call, we are having never ending difficulties to make oculus pc install in company network,

Hello there, Mahamad1988! When connecting we certainly understand your concern with the links having different list available. The only difference in the list would be http://akamaihd.net & http://scontent.oculuscdn.com but would still want to ensure that both of these domains are included to connect. We appreciate your time and have a great day!
