So frustrated paid money for both my boys to get this game and they can’t play it because it requires developer mode. Since they are 11 and 9 I can’t turn the feature on. The game is rated E! This is one of the main reasons for buying the device is to play games. Is there a way to get this game to work for my children?
Meta replied on another thread. Go to setting on the headset, search permissions, go to microphone, enable it for the apps. Relaunched the app and worked like a charm. Hope that helps
I'm having the very same issue with our new Meta Quest 2, and from doing some reading, many others are as well. What is the fix to this issue? A hard reset didn't do anything to resolve the problem. Very frustrating.
I also have this issue with gorilla tag - keeps telling my son (age 11) to ask for developer mode but when I look for it to be turned on it’s greyed out with a child account. I can’t find any info about this?? Looks like if you have a child with a teen account you can go to parental supervision to amend but with a child account I don’t have this option. I’ve allowed access for the actual app and it’s not blocked. I’m going round in circles and don’t know how to fix this. Please help!
Same we can’t get it to work either. So frustrating. I had to pay for games again on my account and have them use mine “the admin” account. Meta really needs to fix the parental control options. Not letting a kid account cast is dumb too. My kids want to show me what they are doing.

This worked perfectly, thanks! Simply had to allow microphone for the game.
