My wife and I have had very very bad luck with the Quest 3 so far. We posted on this forum recently.
It seems after about 2 weeks of use, the head unit loses hand tracking. Then we contact Meta Customer Support. They ask for a factory reset but it always leads to re-boot problems and then eventual replacement.
As we await our 6th replacement to arrive tomorrow. We are wondering what we can do differently to avoid these problems from re-occurring. We are in our early 50's and we use it for the fitness App, Supernatural (which we LOVE!). We baby this thing, constantly worried it's going to break again. We use it in an open, well lit room.
It has got to a point where we simply expect that it will break again and again.
Looking for advice on what we can change to avoid the frustrating RMA return cycle.
Thank you.

hi @Captmable
Sorry to hear this, that is very unusual indeed!
Daft questions first, I don't suppose you are using any covers for controllers and/or the headset that may obstruct the hidden infra red transmitters?

Make sure nothing is blocking the sensors

Ah yes... we do have controller grip covers. We do not have anything on headset other than an aftermarket facial interface that helps with sweat.
We will definitely not use the grip covers and see if that helps.
Thank you very much for that suggestion.
