So we bought the VR headset and setup a meta account for our son, but set his age wrong. We now got an e-mail about proving his age, or mark his account as 10-12 years.
We marked his account as 10-12 by setting the correct year, and it got instantly suspended. Please help. If we can transfer it to my account as a childaccount that would work.
It's less than a year until he is of age to use Facebook but the account will probably deleted before then?

Hello there, @SimenMossik! We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we would love to assist you with this. Typically in these situations you would receive an email with an ID verification process. If you have received that email, following through with the process as suggested in the email will be the most efficient way to bring this to resolution. Have you tried to go that route already? We look forward to your reply!

Hi there 😊, thx for the response! No, we have not yet sent in any ID for verification, as the webpage looked a bit scary, warning that the account would be permanently closed if the verification failed. So I figured that I would ask here first to prevent taking the wrong action.
What happens if we start the verification, and it fails, will this close his Meta account with any and all purchases?

We have sent in the ID, and the response message says we should expect an answer within a day or so.

So we got a response straight away, and the account is now permanently disabled. What the hell?
We are now not able to log in anywhere with his account, what then about the purchases?
