So, i've been extremely excited for my Oculus Quest 2 to arrive in the mail, however, the brand new headset shipped to me was defective straight out of the box. My problem is that I'm in a constant boot loop on my first setup (software update), I've been able to connect to wifi, but not to the app and the oculus just restarts itself before I can get anything done.
I've sent support tickets, I've watched youtube videos, I've gotten 60+ replies on reddit on how i should fix this headset and nothing is working
I have tried everything, powering off, factory reset, USB update, SD update, letting it die, letting it sit and reset itself for 8 hours, letting it get a full 100% charge, switching wifi networks, restarting router... ETC ETC. Ive tried everything.
The problem im having now is I have no clue how to return this unit because I bought It as a guest, not inside my account and you cant attach guest orders to an account. I have no way to return this headset that is completely broken when it was shipped to me brand new.
To say I am beyond infuriated is an understatement. Someone please point me in the right direction.
