PS and thank you to the Oculus support team who tried to come up with an answer but didn't have one for me.

I currently have a second Facebook account for my second headset. I also speak Chinese and so I used my Chinese name on the second account and otherwise, all information is real. I have added just a few friends so that it has some minimal activity.
So far, it is working. I'm using this approach assuming that a class action suit will be brought when enough people have their headsets disabled and their purchases put in purgatory because of this policy. There is no way that it will stand once it gets into court.
Facebook seems to be somewhat capricious when it comes to bans, and there isn't a good appeals process. It's one thing to say that a company blocked you from using its free service and another when they sold you goods and then prevented you from being able to use them.
