Need help with the meta quest link dekstop app

When I try starting the desktop app it instantly crashes and reboots and crashes again in a loop until I close it with the taskmanager I don't seem to find a solution anywhere. I tried to repair the app and reinstalling it but nothing worked so far.

That for sure is annoying when the app on your computer keeps crashing.

Could you provide us with a bit more information regarding this problem like:

Are you getting any error messages?

Has this worked normally before? If so, have any changes been made to the computer lately?

Are your power settings set to be on the highest performance?

Is your computer and the drivers fully up-to-date?

Something you could already try in the meantime is the following:

Disable any VPN, Firewalls, Antivirus that may be interfering with our software.

Check if you have the latest Meta Quest Drivers installed. You can follow the next steps for this:

• Close the Meta Quest Pc app.
• Press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command.
• Enter C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers. (File path may be different per user based on the install location)
• Open oculus-driver.
• Open the Meta Quest PC app and then try to connect your headset again.
