New Meta quest 3 Wont link to PC

So yesterday I got my new meta quest 3. However despite multiple hours of trying I can't get it to link to my PC.

I know how to use a pc but I don't know all the advanced technical stuff to be honest.

I'm trying to do a wireless link as the area my pc is located doesn't have enough space to use VR meaning i don't have a cable long enough. It needs to be wireless and that's why I chose the meta quest 3 to begin with. (it won't connect to the pc when I'm sitting next to it either so its not a range issue.)

I'm using the meta quest link app - click add headset, quest 3 - airlink - then get the connect your headset
I then put on the headset go into settings - system - quest link - launch quest link (make sure the use air link tab is enabled) - I CAN SEE MY PC IN THE AVAILABLE PC's LIST - Click pair -

Cant connect to (inset pc name here) Please ensure no other headsets connected to pc, still having trouble restart headset, restart quest pc app. That's it. That's all the information it gives me.

Obviously iv tried restarting both pc and headset multiple times, been at this since yesterday.

I did have an old oculus rift in the past which was still on available devices so I made it forget the device and reinstalled the app for good measure.

Quest link is fully up to date and no updates available on the Quest 3. Quest link is not on public test channel.

Tried working around it by connecting to steam link instead. I can again find the pc connect to it and start scrolling through my steam while wearing the Quest 3. But trying to launch steam VR it says its only supported on the local network, please make sure you are not using a guest or mesh network.

My PC is connected to the internet via an eero model R010001. Which googling it is a mesh network. No idea what that means but fair enough its told me i can't use that. Fine. Back to quest link.

So the Quest 3 is connected to my wifi. The PC Via a Ethernet cable on the eero Both on the same router though and i have tried it on both Private and Public. The VR set can SEE MY PC! but just won't connect or give me a reason why.

Also my pc doesn't have Bluetooth, so i got a Ugreen Bluetooth 5.3 Adapter. Plugged it into the pc and is also visible. Though when the headset connects it disconnects after a few seconds. Probably because that's not how its supposed to connect to the pc.

Did you ever find a fix? I just bought a Quest 3 and am having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. It's so frustrating. I have a link cable, but I would much prefer no cable at all.

I don't think specs are any issue at all too, everything is allowed through in the firewall. My PC specs are a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5700X3D, my PC is connected to ethernet, and my router is in the same room with a 5Ghz band.

I also tried Steam Link but to encounter the same "not on local network" issue. Did you ever find a solution?
