I have a brand new Oculus Rift CV1 but cannot get any sound from the Headphones. Running Windows 7 Ive tried checking the Mixer levels - all good. I cannot see the Rift Headphones listed as an option in Control Panel> Sounds at all.
I've tried uninstalling the software and drivers and reinstalling, Rebooting, Changing the USB 3.0 to other sockets - no avail. If I connect my USB Turtle Beach headphones they work fine on my system.
Any help and please, no , "go to Windows 10 " comments - ta..
All sorted now - had to uninstall and reinstall the USB3.0 drivers
