New to Quest VR and need help playing Half-Life 2

I am new to VR and am finding the experience amazing I have only had my device less then a month, but can anyone help I would like to play (half life 2 )on my meta quest but I am a noob to this and there are so many video on YouTube don't now which one work.

I've had this mod installed for ages and keep meaning to have a go, it's just my Fallout VR addiction that's delayed me. You've prompted me to have a play now and see how good it works!

Edit: I'm assuming you have a VR capable PC to play this? If not, there's a Half-Life 1 port that runs on the headset.

just search on steam for "Half life 2 VR mod".

The mod is free, you just can install it.....of course you have to own the original game on steam.

mmm yeah, pretty decent gameplay, I was expecting a bigger feeling of nostalgia as I was really into HL back in the day, this was a big deal to me, but it's definitely fun replaying this in VR for sure.

Maybe it's just the texture resolution that shows up more in VR now... stand-alone beats it on that front and of course modern PCVR, but I was getting drawn in pretty well. Grabbing and activating being separate buttons seems to throw me a bit but soon get used to it.

Definitely going to be an enjoyable playthrough.

No nostalgic for me....i have not played the game on flat screen.
I was just surprised how good this not vr game worked in vr.
