Hi, Before the v59 update I was getting audio on the TV when chromecasting to it so that friends/family could see the action when taking turns to play. However after the update, there is no longer audio being casted to the TV, even putting the volume to the max. Strangely enough casting to the Phone via the Oculus app there is sound that plays from the phone speakers. Anyone else having this issue?

I found the culprit, at least on my headset. There is an option in sound settings called Mute Microphone. My headset went back to casting sound just fine upon setting that option to off. Meta devs, you may want to consider renaming this option, as it is misleading and confusing as to what it actually does. To everyone that ran into this problem, hope this helps.

ah, good to know I didn't have an isolated issue as I've not seen any other threads stating this issue. Hopefully it'll be a start to bringong more light to the issue

Exact same issue. Audio worked 2 nights ago. Then yesterday my headset finally got v59, and no audio. Meta is incredibly good at consistently breaking random stuff with each update, and then when the next rolling update comes out taking 3+ weeks for my headset to finally get the update.
I was just getting things set up to start using my Quest on Livestreams, and now I'll be waiting at least a month before that happens.
Edit:
For more info, casting to the phone app works with audio. However, casting to both A computer (using the oculus website) and a chromecast does not send audio properly.

I'm in exact same boat here. Quest 2 got an update a few weeks ago, and now it won't cast sound to Chromecast. This is frustrating, it takes away a lot from the experience, especially in titles that depend on sound, like Beatsaber. Come on, Meta, really? A simple functionality like that and you jacked it all up.
