No Display Port Connection

Hi Folks,

Have contacted support with my issue but awaiting reply so thought I'd try here too.

Oculus Rift S arrived yesterday and I can't get it running. I have a laptop with a GeForce GTX 1060 card. Every time I plug the mini display port in, it goes green for about a second then disconnects.

I noticed that the minidisplay port must be on the graphics card, not the integrated card... how do I tell if this is the case on a laptop? I have two mini-display ports, one has a little D next to the icon which I can't find anything about online. It is only this port that registers the Rift, even though it disconnects immediately.

Really dying to get this thing working, I got aliens to shoot!

I've tried disabling the integrated card, reinstalling, rebooting, nothing working. Argh!
