No prior indication on subscription renewal and also no refund on subscription

It’s been more than 6 months I never touched VR and unfortunately there was subscription enabled for an app that I bought a year ago.

This got automatically renewed without my knowledge and on the same day of renewal luckily I was able to catch the charges on my credit card message so went ahead and canceled my subscription (note: not played it and it was within 4 hours after getting charged)

I tried refund but it’s not allowing for refund. Customer service also says the same. That they don’t have the feature to intimate subscription renewal right now.
