I’ve exhausted all standard recovery options over the past 30 days, and I urgently need your help to escalate this matter to a higher level of support for a thorough investigation and reinstatement of my account. Below, I’ve outlined my situation, the steps I’ve taken, and why I believe this requires immediate escalation.

### My Situation
On **February 26, 2025**, I fell victim to a phishing attack. A message claiming to be from "Meta Support Business - Instagram Protect" informed me that my account was restricted for violating community standards due to an "inappropriate post." It provided steps to appeal, which I followed, believing it was legitimate based on past experiences with temporary restrictions that I successfully resolved. Unfortunately, this was a scam, and I unknowingly gave the hacker my Facebook password, phone number, and date of birth.
The hacker then:
- Accessed my Instagram account (**Arhamq_007**) and Facebook account.
- Demanded ransom money via email.
- When I refused, they violated Instagram’s guidelines using my account, leading to its suspension.
- I was logged out, and when I tried to log back in, I received a message:
**"We suspended your account. Your Instagram account Arhamq_007 doesn’t follow our rules. You have 180 days left to appeal. Log into your linked Instagram account to appeal our decision."**
Shortly after, I got an email stating Instagram reviewed my account and upheld the suspension—**but I never had a chance to appeal**.
I’ve received **no prior notifications** about the suspension, and the appeal process is inaccessible because it requires me to log into the hacked account, which I no longer control. Additionally, I’ve noticed logins from the **United States** (I’m based in India), confirming unauthorized access.
This account, active since **2020**, holds five years of irreplaceable memories—photos of my kids, deceased parents, family, and friends, as well as my contributions to my community. Losing it has been devastating, and I’m determined to recover it.
What I’ve Tried So Far
I’ve made every effort to resolve this through standard channels, but I’ve hit dead ends. Here’s a detailed list:
1. **Instagram.com/hacked**:
- I tried reporting the hack via this link, but it rejects **every email I enter** (including *****@gmail.com** and others), stating they’re "not valid." This prevents me from submitting a report, making it impossible to proceed.
2. **Meta Verified Subscription**:
- On **March 13, 2025**, I paid for a Meta Verified subscription through my personal Instagram account to access enhanced support. Despite this, I’ve received no meaningful assistance.
3. **Indian Grievance Officer**:
- I emailed the Indian Grievance Officer over five times. They responded to one email by restricting access to my hacked account, but it was already suspended by then, so this didn’t help.
4. **Meta Support Tickets**:
- I’ve contacted Meta Support multiple times, providing full details of the phishing attack, ransom demand, and suspension. Here are my ticket numbers:

I understand that Meta Support operates under specific guidelines and typically directs users to self-service tools like **instagram.com/hacked**. However, my case falls outside the scope of these standard processes for the following reasons:
- **Technical Failure**: The reporting system rejects all emails, blocking me from even starting the recovery process. This is a systemic issue, not user error—I’ve tested multiple valid email addresses.
- **Severity of the Attack**: This isn’t a simple password issue; it’s a phishing attack involving ransom demands and deliberate guideline violations by the hacker, resulting in an unjust suspension.
- **Inability to Appeal**: Instagram’s appeal process requires logging into the hacked account, which I can’t do, rendering it useless.
- **Evidence of Persistence**: My Meta Verified subscription and multiple support tickets demonstrate my commitment to resolving this as a loyal user of five years.
Given these factors, my case requires intervention beyond automated responses or standard links. I need a **supervisor or account security specialist** to investigate the hacker’s activity (e.g., logins from the U.S.), review my documentation, and override the suspension so I can regain access.
