On purchasing a Quest 3 for my son's birthday I purchased Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted on the 27th Feb 2024. I did this by mistake on my account not my sons so purchased again on his account and initiated a refund on mine.
Got a email saying........"Refund request submitted, We want to let you know that we have received your refund request. It typically takes us no more than five (5) days to review, verify and process refund requests."
141 days later and still no refund, 30+ emails to and from support and had to provide credit card statements to prove I've not had it back and get proof in letter form from by Credit card company to say they haven't process a refund. All I get from meta is a repose "Were looking into it"
Just come off a live chat now and same again "the issue is being investigated by the internal team still"
I'm now at a loss on what to do so a final hit out to the forums, anything more I can do ?

It took 9 month for them to reset my email for me. Literally over a 2 dozen emails sent. I think they out source alot of their support, because they seem to regurgitate the same answers repeatedly. I strongly urge you to contact the Better Business Bureau if you havent resolved the issue and let others know about the horrible service meta provides to customers.
The only way they will change is if we let the potential customers know what a trash show that meta does, to fix issues. They will reply on forums really fast to uphold the appearance of helping. As your thread shows, but when it comes to actually solving the issue, you have a better chance of toilet training a cat before Meta fixes an issue.
I am surprised they gave you a credit, even if you cant use it. They gave me nothing but hell for 9 month.
In addition to the BBB try the Federal Trade Commission. They are not fast to handle, but they do investigate complaints at government speed level. Theyn might be able to help you get your money back and good luck!

Happy they resolved the issue, it took me 9 months to get my issue resolved too. Support is the slowest I have ever seen, but they are batting 1000 at fixing issues lol.
