Yes it's great. Once I got things figured out, it's very real. There is much more than just playing a round of golf. Great courses and competitions with other people and pros.
My quest pro always receives updates a month or two after the rollout starts. Newer devices should receive updates first. Meta seems to have gotten it backwards. I think a rollout could use some randomization with every update so that a device may not get stuck in the same wave# for every update. Unfortunate to be in the last wave, from it seems. Also, it would be better for rollouts to finish in O(weeks) instead of O(months). Makes me want to skip on meta's new devices.
Hi! Quick update, I did see that Ryanality left a comment in Meta Quest v55 Release Notes that says the update should now be available to all users! Make sure you check for the update by following these steps:
Press on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
Hover over the clock on the left side of the universal menu. When Quick Settings appears, select it to open the Quick Settings panel.
Select Settings in the top right corner.
Select System, then select Software Update from the left menu.

Honestly that isn't how any software updates from any company I have ever been associated with works. You need to understand that some software updates are fixes for broken things. Some can be emergency patches, some security patches and possibly even a rollback.
These cannot happen over the course of a month or two. If there is a zero-day exploit announced that can affect your computer O/S or your browser you will see the update available immediately. If your phone didn't work would you wait 2 months for the update?
My headset BTW keeps telling me that there is an update, it offers to download it as I shut the headset down but it never updates the software. What's that about?
Sucks that it won't update for you. About 3 weeks ago mine updated to v55, and a week later it updated to v56. Working great, no more glitches. Hope it eventually happens for you.
I believe if your battery is below 50% it won't update unless plugged into the charger. Also you should be able to go into System settings - Software Updates - Check for Updates - Install now. (if there are updates).
