Quest 3.
I first set up the Quest 3 about 2 weeks ago, maybe 3.
I accidentally pressed "Forget" for my Wifi network.
I tried every way possible to reconnect to my wifi, but it would not
allow me to. It took my password and immediately said No Wifi
and put the Connection as being bad.
I tried the suggestions on this site, but nothing worked.
I had to do a full factory reset on the Quest 3. If this wasn't
bad enough, My internet is a hotspot that only allows 100 gig
a month. Loading up the Quest 3 at 8mhz download takes
forever, as well as using up all your hotspot for the month.
Would be nice to figure this out, so folks like me do not have to
go through a complete factory reset.
Solved! Go to Solution.

As I said before, I had to do a complete factory reset in order for the
Quest 3 to accept my password to my wifi and connect to the internet.
The Quest 3 refused to recognize my password. or refused to accept
my password to my hotspot. Maybe the Quest 3 would not electronically
undo the "forget", thus no connection was possible because of that.
I can only say, that if I click on forget and later on try to use that
connection again, it will not work for me. I must do a factory reset
in order to use that connection again.

Hi there, @BigJake! We definitely want to do everything we can to get you into the VR world, so we popped in to offer some assistance! To begin with, could you let us know whether that factory reset helped to get your headset connected to Wi-F?
Also, we wanted to be sure to mention that hotspots have been known to possible have too weak of a signal to support and be seen by the headset, and that may cause connection issues as well. For more information on weak signals and other causes for failed Wi-Fi connections, please check out this article and let us know if you have any questions! We're eager to hear from you!

Thank you for providing that information. Its glad to see you were able to get that resolved on your own, even though doing a factory reset is a pretty last resort step. In the future if you run into this, you can report the issue via the bug report tools in the headset, as well as reach back out to us prior to the factory reset and we will be happy to troubleshoot this for you so you hopefully do not need to factory reset your headset again.
