Hi,
As a conversation here: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/1e6lq00/comment/lecf5bu/
we have broken code in v68. How quick can we have an update from Oculus?

so how about someone from the meta community team please acknowledge this thread - yet again another update has broken pcvr gaming, I've read someone got a reply to say it won't be fixed until v69 is released. Well unless v69 is coming out in the next day or 2 and rushed out globally you are going to have a LOT of very unhappy customers AGAIN ! its now getting to the point where i think i might consign my quest 3 to the bin and go buy a pimax (even though i can't really afford it) I am so fed up with the meta lack of testing / lack of community feedback and engagement. THIS IS A BIG ISSUE FOR A LARGE PART OF YOUR COMMUNITY. if you actually care you need to get a fix prioritised by the devs and pushed out ASAP.

I have the same ptoblem on Qpro. Until today v67 was working great. With v68 via Meta Link app and cable - Oculus as default OpenXR runtime- most VR games dont work anymore, they crash when starting (DCS, Xplane12, Falcon BMS, MSFS etc.).

I have read on the DCS forum that meta have acknowledged the problem and will fix it when v69 is released

Hey, is there any way i can roll back my Quest PRO headset to the previous build?
Todays update made it impossible to play any of the VR titles i want to play like:
MSFS2020 & DCS
Both programs crash to desktop while loading after I updated. Briefly tried the public test, but that did not work either.

Dcs crashes after quest link pc software update again... come on, you are professionals you can do better.
Now i am stuck waiting for a fix for this, since you in all your wisdom are denying a rollback to a previous version of the PC software... duhh way to treat customers..
Anyone have a workaround ?

When is this v69 coming? I kinda live to fly, but now i cant...

Yes if you read my comment I said that but also pointed out we shouldn’t have to wait until v69 for a fix - they should realise how many people they are affecting !

I just had the same issue with v67 installed, it seems to manifest when the Quest Link software updates.

So Meta knew about this issue in PTC and still decided to proceed to roll out build 68... Nice.

Try disabling OpenXR Toolkit. I don't use this unsupported addon any more and using Link I haven't seen any problems with any of my fligh sims (xp11/12 and msfs, I don't use DCS) since I got the non-beta v68 update yesterday on my QPro and meta-link PC App.
One thing I noticed with the v68 PC app update was that it changed my device settings back to default (72Hx, res slider 1.0x) and I needed to change that back to what I like (80Hz, res slider full right). Also, there was a driver update. If you didn't see that you may want to manually update your meta drivers by going to your oculus folder support and right click on the drivers exe. Sorry, all I can think of right now.
