Hello, i just bought gear vr And my phone is samsung s7edge with latest android for s7(which is 😎 and my cpu is snapdragon So when i try to install apps from oculus they get fully download and then an error shows up saying "could not install ..." And also i checked for two facebook app installer and app manager they are already installed Please help me im desperately in need it was supposed to be a christmas gift ?
I have the same problem. My phone is s10 plus . I checked Facebook app manager and installer and I cleared cache. But nothing worked.i installed some games before but from yesterday I have problem that apps from oculus they get fully download and then an error shows up saying "could not install ..." please help fast
I had the same issue and fixed it when my Oculus and Facebook accounts merged.
Now I find some games will install and others will not. I can only assume the games which won't install after purchase have not been updated to run on newer handsets whereas some although also old and not updated will run on all handsets.
u can install all the games but there is workaround it has to be from apk file -this way u can install games with "Could not install" error....gear vr sub on redit is good source of info
