A friend of mine let me try their Quest 3, and convinced me to upgrade. I own a Quest 2 but have never used a referral credit. Am I SOL for the credit on a Q3?
Should add: we tried to accept the referral but got the message:
"There was an issue accepting this referral. You may not be eligible because the country or region is not supported, you referred yourself, or you already accepted this referral."

wile it is anoying that they do that. They are totaly in the right to set the prices as they wish. It's us that's buying it after all. But what they're not allowed to do is false advertising.
I hope there is something i didn't understand or that it's been explaned to me wrong but there souldn't be a case where they tell you that you can get 30usd after spending 300 - 400 usd and then after just not giving that.

So if 2 people each have quest 2, can they refer each other to quest 3 by creating new accounts? Assuming the credit goes to the account, each would have $30 both in their new accounts and another $30 each in their old accounts?

Hey there! When it comes to referral program your account has to be new and have a new device. If you currently have a Meta account and upgrade to a Meta Quest 3 you will not be able to credit as your account is not new.
Even if you have not received a referral before this is just how our program is.
