installation of the Oculus worked great. I can use it and all is working great. But I am not able to install apps and games from the Oculus store. I can click on "buy" or "free" (I am using German version, there it is named "kostenlos", don't know if it is really "free" in English version), and then there is a "Download" button. I can click it and hear a sound but nothing happens. Also if I am clicking on "..." on the PC nearby the name and then "Installation", nothing happens. I have a very fast internet connection and Oculus is also installed in C:\, I haven't changed something.
I have attached the log files. I hope you can help me.
Well, you have an old Nvidia driver. Please update to version 388.00. The failure to install games is likely a permissions issue. I'm seeing error such as:
{!ERROR!} [OAF ERROR] ..\..\..\package\PackageUpdater.cpp(84) : Package playful-luckys-tale_assets (partial) Could not validate download directories. (1971040)
Leading me to believe there is something wrong with your permissions. Did you maybe install Oculus with run as admin? You CANNOT install Oculus with run as admin. If you did, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall normally. I also notice there is not a lot of space on your C drive. Did you select a location for your games on a drive with enough space (it will ask your when you first install the Oculus app)? You can also try running Oculus setup installer again and choosing repair, sometime that can help. Otherwise, do the uninstall / reinstall.
