All drivers on my laptop are current and meta link is telling me my graphics card is incompatible with rift. I am running a new Dell xps 15 with an Nvidia geforce 4050 laptop graphics card. This is a current line nvidia. Is this nvidia card supported or not? If it is, how can i get my quest 3 to operate with link? I've been working this for days. Any ideas?

@Drousso Short answer = No. A laptop rtx4050 is a very poor choice for PCVR. A very little google research will tell you this. You are probably best to stick with standalone VR and use your rtx4050 laptop for 2D gaming imho.
As many Reddit kiddies will tell you, if you have a very good wifi6 setup, including having your PC Ethernet connected to your Router, you may get so-so PCVR results with less complex games.

Thank you Tom. While it may not be best, I am curious if it is supported by Meta. I've been looking for a Meta support matrix. I think the card is supported. My issue is that I can't get the system to work at all as meta quest link tells me its not supported.

@Drousso Pretty obvious that it’s not mate imho. Please feel free to contact meta support.

Hey there, @Drousso!
Here you can find a list of supported GPUs for Quest Link. You may notice it states NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series cards are supported but it looks like it doesn't take into consideration the 4050 laptop card as Link often has compatibility issues with laptop cards. For example, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series is compatible but not the 3050 (laptop) and 3050ti GPUs.
Hope this explains things. That list is updated as new GPUs are tested for and made compatible so you can bookmark it for future reference 🙂

@Drousso as previously mentioned, your laptop is really below the bottom and of the specs for PCVR, but you may get it working by using the Virtual Desktop app, note that it's not going to be a great experience.
You may be able to play the PCVR Oculus home (void) at decent framerates though.
