ORDERED OCULUS QUEST - NO COMMUNCATION WITH SUPPORT - HELP PLEASE

I cannot believe the lack of GOOD communication ON THE ORDERING PART OF WEBSITE with my order !!! :# They should have a phone number! :# I posted on their support - nothing dead air. I ordered Oculus Quest via PayPal. Excellent credit. Deadline for special offer is 31 Jan 2020. Got 2 emails one confirmed order received other says we are having trouble processing order. Furthermore says: if we do not hear from you order will be canceled. WHAT? Middle of fence. Ship date is scheduled approx Feb 12 2020. Middle of the fence what is going on? I am in USA. Any help appreciated. Thanks. 🙂

If you order from Amazon you can avoid all of these issues. I would never order directly from Oculus. Also, if you have problems with the unit, sending it back will give you the same if not worse issues. You have 30 days of security on Amazon where you can send it back and get a new one.

Kinda the  way the operate I hate to break it to yah.  Cool products but apparently they get to ya when they get to ya.

If you order from Amazon you can avoid all of these issues. I would never order directly from Oculus. Also, if you have problems with the unit, sending it back will give you the same if not worse issues. You have 30 days of security on Amazon where you can send it back and get a new one.

@claire.smart Heey Claire thanks for the heads up! 🙂 And Amazon is charging the same as Oculus! Ebay is a joke averaging $200 more for profit.  🙂

Never order with Oculus! Tried to order with them and the would accept my card asked me to use paypal with I didn't want to do but now I can see why they wanted me to use it. I told them to cancel the order as I had bought a Vive that night and had no problems using my card. This was almost the end of the story but I ended up getting a Rift S as gift the Christmas so I'm like "Cool my holodeck is complete!" so I hook it up and get everything setup! now this is 9 days after i had them cancel my order of a Rift S and to avoid problems buying games I used my paypal account and still it wouldn't work So I send another e-mail telling them that I couldn't buy games they fix the issue asked me to test it I buy two games and tell them yes it is working now! the next day I check my account to see that they had charged me for a new headset that I had canceled 10 days prior! i send an email right away and am told that since they charged me they can't cancel the order, but once I get the Rift S send them a photo of the shipping label and they will send me an RMA to send it back for a full refund and offered me store credit for their mistake! however now that the unit was "shipped" 4 days later they refuse to answer any emails at all! I now have to resort to other means to get my money back for and item I had canceled 10 days prior to them charging me for it.

So in short do not order from this site!

@Linkue - WOW!!!! First thanks for the lengthy detailed info!  I'll check your YouTube channel and subscribe. I placed an order for the Oculus Quest about 10 days ago with PayPal. There was a tech glitch. Tried to resolve.  NO communication whatsoever! Numerous attempts - nada. Zilch! So I was able to cancel the order online and hope it does not process. I'll wait for Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy or Newegg to order. Furthermore, imagine if you have issues with the VR purchased on Oculus website and try to contact them - pathetic. Sad commentary! Sad business model. Can't believe they do not have at least a phone with human contact.  Good luck and keep us posted! Semper Fi!

Trying to deal with this issuse I havent had a chance to edit the vblog as of yet however a short update. Still no contact with Oculus on this matter short of "We have a large number of tickets and have not gotten to yours, but will get to it in the order it was received." The only thing I can say about that is wow! They literally committed a crime and are acting as if it is no big deal! Well I got really tired of waiting for them to do something and have now turned the matter over to my credit union as a false charge and have handed over all the communications (what little there were) over to their fraud department. 

I am also filing a complaint with the BBB as well as I have a meeting with the County D.A. on monday. So needless to say that as far as I go and my gaming channel this is the first and last Oculus I will EVER own! For all of you whom have made an order with this company good luck to you...your going to need it!

Sorry for the delay as I have been fighting off the flu a couple of weeks now however I am hopeful to have the vbolg edits complete this weekend. however heres an update for you... Sent the device back to them overnight and sig required so they couldn't say they didn't get it. Sent it back unopened they way I received it. Still no communication from Oculus BBB and DA as well as my Federal Credit Union are all in now. So they can be Arrogant as much as they want to be but it is gonna bite em in the end!
