OVR SDK 0.5.0.1 on MacOS

What's the status of the SDK on MacOS?

Nothing under MacOS's Displays control seems to expose any options for turning off desktop for the Rift display (the Arrangement tab seems most relevant), so it appears that Extended mode is the only option. Plugging in the Rift, I get a blue LED and the desktop image is visible. Launching OculusConfigUtil (differently named from Linux's RiftConfigUtil) I can see my DK2's HMD and tracker serial numbers, but the Demo Scene is not rendered properly - It's rotated 90 degrees clockwise and visible only in the right lens(desktop image in the left).

Launching the OculusWorldDemo, I get a dialog saying "Cannot initialize LibOVR", then the app quits. Launching my RiftSkeleton OpenGL app, I get "Segmentation Fault 11" printed to the terminal, then the app quits.

But on the positive side, I can say that launching and quitting the Demo Scene from OculusConfigUtil are both incredibly quick.

Can you make sure that the DK2 is set to 1920x1080 resolution at 75Hz?

Also, you will probably also have to rotate the screen 90 degrees in the OS settings.

Rotating the screen 90 degrees in the control panel made the Desk test scene work. For anyone trying this at home, there is a "Gather Windows" button on the Display control panel that will move the Rift display's configuration window (that I did not know was there) onto the primary monitor where it is visible. From there, you can set the resolution, refresh rate and rotation.

OculusWorldDemo.app still gives me "Unable to initialize LibOVR".
