OVRServer_x64.exe 202883-public TCID:964894 has stopped working

Hi, I've installed the software but can't use it because this crash occurs every time I plug
in the DK2.  The headset and sensor are plugged into USB 3.0 ports.  All the latest drivers for the USB ports and video card are installed.  The required Windows 7 SP1 updates are installed.  My computer is very healthy.  The DK2 worked fine with the 0.8 runtime.  This is clearly a bug because it has an exception code and you can see the offset in the attached screenshot.  That should lead you to the exact line of code.

Closing the crash message (with the Rift still pugged in) causes the Rift software to restart and the OVRServer then crashes again.

The sensor (camera) doesn't cause this crash.  It only happens when the DK2 is plugged in.  The Oculus software recognises the rift then within a second or so the OVRServer crashes with the attached message.

Exception Code: c000001d
Exception Offset: ...00f5e1d

Additional Info: If
I press the button on the DK2 so the light goes off, then the OVRServer stops crashing and this allows the Oculus software to run.  As soon as I press the button on the Rift to switch it on this crash comes up again.

I've tried updating everything I can but the same crash comes up every time.

Hi, may be this post will helpfull for someone in this topic. My problem was that OVRserver crashes right after two cables (HDMI and USB) are connected. Spent some days with this strange behaviour. And, in my case, the solution really make me surprised: Before i've use DVI-to-HDMI adapter, cause my card have no true HDMI out, and that is the true root of the issue, that was WRONG. Problem was solved when I use another card with true HDMI out
I'm just surprised very much, why oculus software couldn't detect, which interface I really use to connect HMD, and why it dont't it turn me right way? There's no any instruction or orders to use true HDMI instead of DVI-to-HDMI adapter, or disadvantage to use HDMI adapters. I think, if oculus developers can not solve this problem at software level, it was really good to say some warnings at documentation or as result of compatibility checks.

Evening all, I have just this problem, getting "Can't Reach Oculus Runtime Service Your Oculus software may be updating. Please wait a minute and try again" it leads me to OVRServer_x64, and when i try to active it manually (though service is active automatically since pc start) give me this crash, it seem it could be the firewall, but i uninstalled glaswire, the 360´s firewall and stopped win 7 firewall, and didnt work..... someone knows how to grant access to that exe file or what to do? Regards

I would guess it's a security/permissions error. You may want to disable or temporarily uninstall any anti-virus security software on your computer. Also, it may help to make sure Windows is fully updated.

Nothing, yesterday last moment uninstalled 360 and glasswire, and disabled win 7 firewall and got nothing but 4 viruses and half an hour to reinstall all and clean pc..... I can not understand how is possible to be so many problems, since this happens from DK1 times, can not understand in an expensive item like this, never had so many problems with any hardware... I dont blame on u cibereality, but on oculus soft developers... regards...
