Ocuals purchases no migrating to Meta account.

Hi Team,

I had a oculus rift account back in the day with a number apps and games purchased in my account. I migrated from Oculus to Meta when prompted 2023/24 but have only just brought a Meta Quest recently and tried to recovery my purchases. 

Who could I DM to fix this issue, I'm using the same email for both accounts so shouldn't be a problem to track and fix.

Both accounts? Have you accidentally created a new account now that you bought a Quest?

Are you using the Quest stand alone or connected to a PC?

The Rift and the Quest have different stores and libraries. When running stand alone, a Quest can't see games from the Rift store and a Rift can't see games from the Quest store.

Some games are cross buy. This means if you own the Rift store version, you get a free copy on the Quest store. But it doesn't appear in your library automatically, you have to go to the Quest store and click on "Get".

Games that aren't cross buy have to be bought again. Then again some Rift games have no Quest version.

 

If you are connecting your Quest to a PC (using Link, Airlink or Virtual Desktop), then it will act as a Rift and you will only see the Rift library and have access to all of your Rift games.

Thanks for your quick reply I was trying it in stand alone mode, but when I get home in a few weeks I'll try in via the PC and see how I get on with the information you have provided. Thanks again for your help.
