Greetings, I have read about similar issues. Let me start with that I have paired and unpaired. I have taken apart the controller to clean stick area. I tried to calibrate the left controller but it wont because I cant move forward. I have a thumbstick repair kit that I am considering but drift is not my issue. I want to avoid a factory reset. Is it a tracking issue, can it be fixed with a new stick or what other reason is causing the input not to be recognized ?

Thank you for bringing your controller issue to our attention. It sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting already by yourself! Just to confirm as it seems you are weary about doing a factory reset. There is a specific controller factory reset that is different to a regular headset factory reset. You wouldn't lose any save data or have to reinstall lost apps on the device.
Use the correct button combination to start the factory reset process.
The LED will blink orange/white while the factory reset is being performed, the LED will then change to light blue during boot. Controllers can be used again as normal once the boot is complete. If you're still having issues with the controller following that, please feel free to click on our name here, and private message us just so we can collect some more information and investigate this further!
Thank you!
