I'm using my brother's Oculus Rift, and while trying to set it up it wouldn't recognize the Hdmi port even though my desktop showed up on the headset
I Tried restarting my computer and now the headset won't display anything and has an orange light
After that, I tried reconnecting everything, reinstalling new Nvidia Drivers, and reinstalling the oculus app, but nothing worked
System specs:
Windows 11
AMD Ryzen 5600H
RTX 3050 Ti
16 GB Ram

For some reason it randomly started to work, but then it said my graphics card isn't compatible, so i switched to my integrated graphics card. I've heard that it might just be a bug with the app and it actually does work.

I solved this on my end by updating my graphics drivers directly from the AMD/Radeon website rather than just the ones my computer detected through Device Manager.

Hey @TippedJoshua! Thanks for your patience, and welcome to the Meta Quest community! We know how important it is to make sure our devices are working properly, and we're eager to help out!
We would recommend reinstalling your graphics drivers as well as reseating the cable behind the facial interface.
Please disconnect any unnecessary USB devices (everything but the headset, keyboard, and mouse) and try the headset in another USB 3.0 port, also try the headset on another computer if possible.
If the issue still persists, please gather your diagnostic logs and contact our amazing Support Team.

I'm having this same issue, it's very frustrating. I had fixed this error by restarting my PC (and maybe updating BIOS and stuff I don't remember), but my computer crashed 10 minutes after launching Steam VR and now the error is back. I've tried updating my drivers, my operating system, rolling back the most recent minor Windows update, checking the hardware connection, etc.
I've actually gotten my headset to work properly on this computer before, but it stopped working after a break.

@TippedJoshua We're happy to hear that it's working normally for you now! When reviewing this situation closer, we see that the video card you mentioned, the RTX 3050 Ti, is actually not a supported card. While you may be able to get it to work, it's not something we can guarantee. So that's something to keep in mind going forward. You can read more about the requirements here.
