Oculus Hardware Error !

Hello Everybody,

Here is my problem, I having a issue with the setting of the rift.

I have already send my ticket to the support.

I would like to say that it worked great before.

I have try several things :

- Plug and Unplug USB port ( I tried several mixes between USB 2.0 and 3.0)

- Last driver of my graphic card (GTX 970)

- Last update of Windows 10 

- Delete and Download the Rift program several time.

- Reboot the PC

- Unplug the cable in the helmet, inspect every cable

- I plug the rift in my HDMI port of my graphic card and I try with a adaptor for my DVI port.

- Scream and Cry 

I never post something without try everything I can find on internet...

So here I am...

Hey, was there ever a fix to this issue? I have the same error 😞

Don't know if you ever sorted this problem out you was having with the hardware error popping up on initial setup

I did and nearly gave up on the rift totally

But I reinstalled windows 10

Formatted my drives

Reinstalled oculus app

And defaulted my bios so no overclocking on ram or cpu

And oculus rift headset setup first time

I was amazed, so I thought it was because I reinstalled win 10, so I let win 10 do some updates, hoping rift would still work and it did,

Then I thought I'll set xmp profile on ram

And overclock my cpu to 4.7 from 4ghz

Then suddenly the rift headset started playing up, tracking on sensors stopped working, and allsorts of errors were popping up wit rift device,

My heads blagged,

So I defaulted bios no overclocking,

And the rift started working again 🤣🤣👀😅

Try defaulting your bios and fresh install of win 10 to get your rift working again weird
