We make a shared space multiplayer game that runs standalone on the Quest 2. The games are hosted on a laptop plugged directly into the router that the headsets are connected to. Up until now, when we see the players start to stutter or "rubber band", we would power off the router, and when it came back on the lag was gone. But now we started to notice periodic lag coming from the headsets, every 6-7 seconds, the headsets stutter enough that physics objects being held by players get launched out of their hands. We tried everything we could to clear up the network but we usually keep our game network dedicated to just the games so there wasn't much to do. The problem went away when we factory reset one of the headsets, so we proceeded to factory reset all of them. after a few weeks the stuttering came back on two of our headsets.
I pinged the headsets from the server computer and I noticed a pattern in the lag. ever 6 seconds there would be a spike in the ping response time, this would happen for a bit, and then we would get 20 seconds of stable connection before the 6 second pattern started again.
Our game is built in Unreal 4.27 and we have been porting our games from PCVR to Quest since the Quest 1.
I am beginning to hear from our users experiencing the same lag on their systems. This lag is beginning to make our game unplayable

Hello, we are experiencing the same network lag issue. Have you resolved this issue on your end? Would it be convenient to share your experience?

I know it's wildly too late, but the issue was resolved by a meta firmware update. but now it's back in V64.

Yeah it was resolved post V54, but it is happening again. I can't nail down a version number, but most of our headsets are on V64

For a bit more clarification, please tell us does this issue only happen with one game? Could you test other games to see then get back with us? Also, when you get a chance, could you please report this problem so our engineers are made aware of it using these steps?:
