I wish to open my Meta Quest App and find a game i know for a fact i own on the Standalone version. for other games i am able to press the fabled 'Get' button, however some don't. why is that?
This question spawned when i was streaming a game, and someone asked to watch me play 'Job Simulator' i knew i had bought it in the summer of 2021 on my quest 1, and i installed it. and when i checked the Meta app, i didn't see the 'Get' button. I know it's not because i bought the game too long ago, because i was able to play 'Vader immortal' I II and even III. and those came with the quest.

You're right... it doesn't matter when you bought the game.
Quest standalone games and PC games are developed for different systems... Quest (Android) - PC (Windows)
So Quest games won't run on a PC.
Some games offer cross-buy. This means that if you buy the standalone version of a game, you get the PC version for free, and vice versa.
For these games, you'll see a "Get" or "Install" button.
Games without cross-buy must be purchased twice: once for Quest and once for PCVR.
