Oculus Rift CV1 not showing anything in the headset when connected

So I got a new computer and everything else, but for some reason when I plug it into the computer and launch up the meta quest link app, one of my desktop screens goes black before turning back on. But my headset on the computer detects it's connected, but my headset's light goes from orange to white and tends to switch between them. When I block the ir sensor in the headset, I can hear the oculus music(or something like that) in my headphones, but there's no visuals in the headset. Any fixes on that? My computer has a 3070 along with a Ryzen 7 2700x cpu and has plenty of power to do so. My best option is the USB on the motherboard not giving enough power. I let it catch all the logs as well of the Oculus software too.

@DDavy2011  sadly this sounds like your cable has given up the ghost. Are there any kinks or twists in it? It may be worth contacting meta support as they had some refurbished cables some time back.

That's impossible. I tried this in my laptop and funny enough it ran perfectly fine with nothing broken. It does have a slight cable showing near the start of it about 2ft from the start, but nothing that's too extreme. I don't know if it's just the desktop that likely has lower ended things that can't run vr, or something strange is going on here. I may have to contact meta support on this matter considering I can't choose CV1 here anymore and the Rift S is my only option here. Everything in VR shows what I should see in the headset, but the headset itself just isn't wanting to listen.

@DDavy2011 ahh, so now we know it's working with your laptop. What versions of the PC app are you running on the laptop and desktop. Are any of them on the PTC. It also may be a USB power delivery or bandwidth problem where the power is shared between too many USB 3.1 ports and there's not enough to run the sensors and the headset.  Add in USB 3 PCI-E card may help.
