i recently bough a Oculus Rift DK1 , it is the only one i can get a hold of I have installed every thing that i need for them , just today i got a GTX 1060 3GB just so i can use it
My computer can see the Oculus Rift DK1 , The OculusConfigUtil works , everthing is there , the runtimes the drivers the connections BUT when i click on the show demo scene button , nothing happens i get the box that has a lot of text and just that (if you want pictures just write me and i will send you or attach a link here)
when i power on the unit i can see , no signal in the goggles , and before i installed the Runtime my PC was seeing them as a Display , after the Runtime my PC dosent see them as a Display
OculusConfigUtil can see the DK1s perfectly and they are connected
I have Windows 7 64 bit and i installed all the updates for it what the program wanted if you need any more infromation or pictures just massage me
Can someone please help me , i really want this to work My main goal if to play fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas in VR
what version of the runtime are you using? anything above 0.8 wont work and that means that those two games you want to play wont work either since they're built on newer sdk's (neither are vr compatible anyways though)

Every singal runtime from 0-4-0 to 0-8-0 I will try the older one agen

i jused installed 0,4,3 win , i will do a reboot and i will give you the results , also shoud i do a full uninstall of 0-8-0?

Oke here is the update I installed (oculus_runtime_rev_1_sdk_0.4.3_win) During the install it sad "There is a newer version of the Util on your system the install will stop" And now the oculus_runtime_rev_1_sdk_0.4.3_win dosent even see the Oculus Rifts DK1 in it
Here is what i am thinking , uninstall the 0-8-0 Runtime , and then install one of the older ones Oke i will do that now , useing Revo Uninstaller and i will give you the update
Oke i got the demo to work here is what you do if you have the same problem : 1. Uninstall all of the new runtimes 2. Make sure that your GPU is VR compatible(Basicly if it is a GTX 1050 it and above and the AMD ones) 3.Use something like Revo Uninstaller (or just install everthing) 4.Install the oculus_runtime_rev_1_sdk_0.4.0_win runtime (the olders one) 5.Enjoy
