Oculus Rift issues in BoxVR

So I've been using my Oculus Rift for about 4 months now. It's been a rollercoaster of issues. There are periods when everything is fine, and then there are periods like now where i can't seem to get it to work consistently. I'm sure this is a mixture of issues resulting from graphics driver bugs, Windows updates, oculus updates, BoxVR updates, etc...

I have an MSI Aegis 3. I'm running Windows 10 on it.It has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 w 8GB of video RAM. It has an Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60Ghz (8 CPUs) and it has 32GB of RAM. My graphics card drivers are 100% up to date.  Windows 10 is 100% up to date. Oculus is 100% up to date.  BoxVR is 100% up to date.

I have 3 Rift Sensors, 2 are USB 3.0, one is USB 2.0 (it's in the back). Only the one in the back is using a usb 2.0 repeater/extension cable. Nothing else including my headset is using an extension cable. I have no other software running on this PC except for Oculus and Steam (for BoxVR).

I use BoxVR to workout on my Oculus at least twice a day (I've lost about 30  lbs with it since Jan 1, yay me). Very frequently, I'm experiencing three issues:

1) The Rift headset will not work if I haven't been on it for a bit. I think I may have fixed this by ensuring that my PC is set to "not turn off" all USB and RIFT devices (through device manager) to save power. I did that just the other day, so i'm sort of waiting to find out.

2) this is the one that concerns me the most because it's the most annoying and frustrating. In the middle of a BoxVR workout, I can hear the sound Windows usually makes when a device is unplugged/replugged. The rift headset goes black. It will come back on in a moment, and then sometimes my "hands in game" start moving weirdly. Eventually, it will go back to normal, but then the VR headset will blackout again shortly thereafter. I usually have to stop working out when this happens. I don't normally have time to deal with it since I usually workout right before work or during lunch break. I will reboot the PC when come back later for my next workout and sometimes this happens and sometimes it doesn't.

3) Sometimes the headset's movement is unusually slow (or at least that's what it seems like), and it makes me feel like i'm losing my balance. Sometimes I will just power through this issue during the workout and try my best not to fall over *(lol)*. I usually have to reboot to fix this.

I really love Oculus Rift and Box VR. I want to keep using them. I am just getting fed up with all of the issues, sadly. I don't think I've ever had this much fun working out so I am hoping that maybe the community has some ideas about how I can fix these issues. I appreciate any help I can get. I work in IT, so I'm a fairly technical guy. I've been scouring the web for troubleshooting information but sadly I haven't found anything that works. Usually a reboot of the PC gets things back in working order for a little bit. I have also tried unplugging and replugging everything to ensure nothing has gotten lose. Nothing seems to permanently fix it. I am going to looking to see if maybe the graphics card is overheating or something using MSI Afterburner too. BoxVR is pretty much the only VR thing I play, so I can't say that I've played anything else enough to see if the issues are happening in other games too. Usually I'm about 10-15 minutes into a workout when I get issue #2. Issue #1 and #3 are usually just there or not at the start. I have also tried plugging into different usb slots to see if that helps at all. I don't think it has.

I attempted to roll back my nVidia driver to 388.59 like I've found on some articles on the web. It actually won't let me roll back since I guess my Windows version is so new. So I have to scratch that off the list.  (I downloaded the 32-bit by mistake, lol. I'm trying again with the 64-bit version.

I tried rolling back to the driver from 1/23/2018. It seems to be crashy too. I went ahead and re-positioned my tower so that  there's more air circulation.  I decided to play Audioshield to see if it  had any issues. The game keeps crashing out on me while playing. lol. Headset goes black and I take it off to find the game has crashed. I must have really bad luck. I'm gonna go ahead and reupdate my graphics card driver.

I bought a 4 Port PCI Express (PCIe) SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Card Adapter w/ 4 Dedicated 5Gbps Channels - UASP - SATA / LP4 Power to rule out USB issues (hopefully not create more). I plan to have it installed on Thursday. I'll report back if i have any success.

Sadly even on a new PCIe USB, i am getting the headset disconnect. I noticed while it was working that my VR as a whole was a lot better. I think that's because the sensors are really benefiting from the new USB card. The headset still disconnects though both in hte new USB card and also if it's the only thing plugged into the motherboards built in USB hub(s). I think maybe my headset is defective... 😞

Is there any repeated Updates for anything in Home as I got 2 for VirtualDesktop and 9 for Bigscreen since March and all the problems soon after for memory being hogged?
BTW all the Oculus Devices actually only do require USB2 and they just prefer us to buy the latest...because!

I have the exact same card and exactly the same error. Windows does not see the headset through this card. I do not know how to fix it. This error randomly happens.
