Oculus Software Installation Failed

Unperturbed
Honored Guest

I have been trying to install the Oculus Software for the past 2 days. I tried all of the solutions I can find online and in this support. e.g. Disabling Firewall & Anti-virus, installing it in another drive, uninstalling redistribution 2015, installing in safe mode, uncheck read-only for the folders, redownloading the setup, ending task while it is rolling back then opening the program, & everytime I reinstall it, I will clear out my appdata oculus and temp folders, the oculus download folder, and oculus installation folder.

Reaching out here is my last resort, I cannot find any solution anymore. This is the error I have.

If someone can help it would be awesome! At this point, I'm done with trying to link my quest 2 to the computer.

SOLVED! Found an older thread that redirects me to github to download the oculus-driver.exe and replace it during installation. It works find now. If you have to go to github to download replacement files means you did something wrong with your software. That said,

You can read the thread here:

or you just want to access the github:

Thanks. Just install finally.  My £250 brick has come alive. 😀
