Oculus Software won't start

I've reinstalled it twice, disabled antivirus, and I've downloaded the patch. It appears to download and even run the installation fine, but every time I try to run the program itself, a small, black window with the oculus logo appears with a load wheel that persists endlessly.  And to clarify, this does not appear to be the wide spread "Can't Reach Oculus Runtime Service" bug. I'm on windows 10.

I got as far as reinstall windows 10 from scratch. And I still can't use the Oculus app, stuck in loading right after the installation of it.

Edit:nevermind... I cleaned up a few folders, set up the correct authorization for the camera in win 10, and it worked for me.

For me it worked as Jumbocat suggested, I'ts really sad that TODAY, i'm still searching the web for such old issues.

This does not work i have tried restarting my pc and do this a bunch of times. not working

OHMYGOD this worked for me! I've been sitting here for hours trying to figure this out.
