I have not had any issues my Oculus installation until very recently. I am on Windows 10, and with the most recent Oculus software update, it was stuck in a perpetual loop of updating. It would say I need to update, it would download an update and restart, then it would keep saying I needed to update. I uninstalled everything, and now I cannot reinstall Oculus at all. It fails every time and tells me to restart and to contact Oculus support.
I have tried every solution I could find to fix the issue (uninstalling VC++ 2015, registry editing, disabling antivirus, etc..). Nothing works and I want to scream at this point. There have been countless posts about similar issues, but nothing is helping. Any ideas what I can do? I'm not reinstalling my entire OS because Oculus has a crap installer. I had no issues initially, the install went smoothly, but after the last update, it's been a disaster.
