I have a Meta Quest 2 and I've been tried again and again to fix this stupid issue.
Basically, whenever I plug my Quest 2 into my computer and use Quest Link, neither the audio inputs or outputs work. When checking their stats, the sound bars next to them show that they're constantly outputting audio at a volume of 50%, but that's clearly not the case since I can't hear anything when wearing my headset. My Quest 2 audio works perfectly when I do standalone, and when I switch to a different audio device like my Laptop's built-in speakers, the audio from Quest Link comes out of those perfectly fine.
Also, this issue just started today. I've used my Quest 2 for a couple years now and only had this issue once before. That time I fixed it by factory resetting my headset. I tried that again this time, but it didn't work.
I've reset my computer and headset, I've made sure the Oculus Virtual Audio Device is on or set as default, I've ensured the volume isn't at 0, I've updated, uninstalled, and reinstalled all my drivers, I've factory reset my Quest 2, and I've even gone through Meta support and they just stopped talking to me halfway through the troubleshooting process.
If anyone knows, or has any ideas as to how to fix this, please let me know!
