Oculus does not support LAPTOPS, MAC or eGPUs I use a RIFT on a 2017 15" Macbook Pro with an eGPU...

So if anyone else runs into the following, this might help.
After Oculus updated to the new DASH, Home would show me the "Update Graphics Driver for Nvidia GTX1080"
After update it asked me to "Update Graphics Driver for Radeon Pro 560" (This is the beefed up GFX that comes in the 15"MBP 2017)
After download and during instal of Update an error message popped up saying "No applicable hardware found"...(Well bugger me)
Looked into my device manager to see both the AMD card and Driver were no longer there (WFT)
Went back into Oculus Home to be greeted with the message "Update integrated Graphics card"

Told me my system was inadequate...

After some more research I found out that AMD drivers of the official AMD website are not compatible with the Bootcamp AMD drivers.
After even more research I found... wait for it..... WWW.BOOTCAMPDRIVERS.COM ;
Followed their instructions and I now have a working Rift system with the new DASH.
It's not perfect. My laptop screen is disabled and I can only few the screen attached to the same GFX as the Rift, but I can work with that.

FYI, sometime during all this, I did a fresh install of Bootcamp and Win10 with all drivers and updates reinstalled.

Hopefully, this can help someone with a similar problem, cutting down the 4 day period it took for me to overcome this issue.
Also hopefully in the near future Laptops, MACs and eGPUs will be supported by Oculus.

Finally I'd like to thank Oliver at Oculus for spending some time with me online trying to fix this issue....

I will be trying tonight!! I have 2 days in so far - w/Mac running Radeon Pro 570 - and literally, everything you stated is what I have done and happened (the WTF about my driver being gone!!)

Also, repaired/uninstalled Oculus as well -

Thanks for this info and hopefully I can update soon that this worked!! AND Praying the Bootcamp club will continue working on the update -
