Original Oculus won’t go past the connect to your phone screen. Help please

Hey there, @levere.rose! We've noticed that you're having difficulty connecting your headset to your mobile device, which we understand can be concerning and have an impact on your VR experience. Rest assured that with your assistance, we will resolve this issue for you.

 

So, first, we recommend that you perform a factory reset on the device. If you haven't already, we'll leave the steps below for you to try. Please keep us updated on how things go so that we can determine if any additional steps are required.

 

To perform a factory reset using the headset:

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
