Honored Guest

So My Oculus quest 2 have been all around having problems sense like maybe a year or two after we bought it like controllers being weird and stuff not working right like boundary problems not picking up were i am until a good 10 seconds and the main thing is i have not been able to play any games on my PC for more than 6-7 minuets without it going all Shakey and just starts to gradually becoming so buggy and Shakey that i cant even move my hands or head without it going dark, have a loading screen from oculus (spinning Hour-glass) and i have made sure it is the oculus itself not my computer because i went on my desktop after leaving a game (super hot) and it worked fine and i even was listening to music and it was working and yet it still became buggy and it still gets buggy in oculus alone games (B&S, Beat Saber, WDSS) and i have no idea what to do its almost to the point of being completely unplayable Pleas help! :added it still has its good moments but so far they have been rare.

Hello there! Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this to our attention. We understand how experiencing these matters on display can disrupt an amazing VR experience and can be rather distracting, so we are happy to look into this for you!

Can you please read through and try the following?

1. Has your headset experienced a drop or hit recently?

2. Can you verify there are no other IR emitters in the same room that are potentially causing interference?

3. Check if the issue occurs while the device is on a flat surface without any vibrating objects nearby.

4. Uninstall and reinstall GPU drivers; see Updating your graphics card driver for Oculus Rift S.
    a. Close the Oculus app.
    b. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run command.
    c. Enter C:\Program Files\ Oculus\Support\ oculus-drivers
    d. Open oculus-driver
    e. Open the Oculus app, and then try to connect your sensor again.

Once we can get additional information regarding this, we can know what course of action is best for us to take.

We can't wait to hear from you soon!

No, i Have tried all of those and none have worked so far i am lost.

Hi again @TippyMan8! Thank you for confirming that you still need some help! We got some more steps for you to try:

  1. Confirm if USB cable is plugged into a USB 3 Port as recommended.
    • USB 3 is often indicated as the Blue port
  2. Re-seat the USB Cable
  3. Try another USB 3 port
  4. Reboot the PC

Give this a try and let us know if you still need assistance!
