Please answer the following:

  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried besides charging them fully?

  • Are you using any third-party accessories on your controllers?
  • Can you see any lights on your controller(s) that are on (blinking or solid)?

Handsets are used with oculus pro home broadband WiFi.

When trying to contact the left handset will flask blue then white and keep doing this.

Have you tries resetting the controllers? (holding down the Oculus/Menu button until the LED flashed red//white, and immediately release), then wait for them to restart.

Yeah tried disconnecting controller but when trying to reconnect the left connects the disconnect and same again over and over. Hiw much is a new controller?

I don't mean disconnect and reconnect (done using the headset menu), but a controller reset/restart using the recessed buttons. That's probably what you mean but just double checking to be sure!

I held in the oculus button intill it flashed red let go controllers both were disconnected then right one reconnected but left one keeps on connecting the disconnecting in the space of a second over and over

OK yeah, support may know of a few more tricks to try before we give up.

The controllers are very expensive to buy new, £299 including a charging dock (not sure about US price). If they're out of warranty and we can't get them to work with the help of support, it's then worth talking to them about the possibility of reconditioned ones, if they're available.

Also, as this seems to be both controllers, it's very possible that the problem is at the headset end. I think support are better placed to help determine where the issues lies but personally I'd do a headset factory reset. It's a pain as you'd have to re-install your apps but I'd do that.

Hey there, @mileszoda2301! Controller connection is definitely something we try our hardest to get a grip on. @DaftnDirect has exactly the right idea! We recommend a factory reset; if that doesn't work, please feel free to send us a PM so that we may discuss warranty options. You can get this started by clicking here. We look forward to helping any way we can!
